Tri Star Apparel goes to Trinco  

The latest addition to the group is the new factory opened on 05th September 2009 in Thamblagamuwa in the District of the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka.

This factory was constructed under the accelerated development programme of the Eastern Province on the invitation of His Excellency the President Hon. Mahinda Rajapakse to create job opportunities for Sinhala , Tamil & Muslim youth of the area after successfully eradicating terrorism from Sri Lanka..

The plant comprises a Production floor of 36000 sqft with 12 Knit and 8 Woven production lines. It has over 450 sewing machines and a fully computerized cutting machine. This factory has already employed 400 trained workers and will be expanded upto 1000 workers by mid 2010. The factory is managed by a well trained and experienced team and has the capacity of producing 100,000 pieces garments per month.
